hey everyone! so yeah i got transfered as you all know already and i am in Highlands Ranch which is a really really rich area.. the ward members here are amazing! they help the missionaries out so much and they are so nice! its way better than my last area in that category.. but we are doing lots and lots of tracting because there aren't too many people who are willing to listen.. but we teach the ward members on nights that we dont have appointments with investigators.. i think we have 4 different investigators but i dont know too much about htem cuz i've only been here a week.. so hopefully things will go good with them.. i'll be sure ot keep in touch and let you all know. so last saturday Elder Fauvell and i were walking on our way to go tracting and a member stopped us and asked if we were goin to the graduation party and we were like umm no and they were like well do you want to!? and so of course we took them up on it and we went with them! :) there were a ton of people and we got to eat food and hang out.. but yeah the ward members are pretty sweet here! so i think it was sunday we ate a family's home and they are the Gibbs Julie and Gary GIbbs, well anyways they grew up in Ellensburg and Sunnyside so i was telling them how i was from the east side of the state and i asked them if they knew the Calaways and of course they did! haha but i guess she (julie) takes her 3 boys up there to washington every summer to work on the farm.. so it is a really small world, especially a MORMON WORLD.. haha so yeah that is all that has really been going on.. but i will respond to the email.. yeah the house we are living in is really nice, so im sure its the one taht you google maped, and we live with a member family but they aren't in our ward's they are in another ward but we still live with them.. we live in their basment, yes we are still in a biking area but my companion doesn't like to bike, well he sucks at it and is slower than slow so we walk pretty much everywhere! hahah which isn't too bad but its good exercise.. my companion is from Twin Fall's originally but his family moved to Pocatello last summer so he will be going back there, he is almost done with his mission.. he is a great guy, he is ALWAYS happy and cheerful which helps me a tons! i talk with him about all sorts of things and he trys to give me advice.. umm what else.. haha he is a real goof! sometimes he will never shut up! i will have to take a picture of him today and send it to you so you all can see.. but he is a really nice guy and think that he is good for me.. and yes i have figured out about what President meant when he said that my companion would need me.. haha its just cuz he will need help trying to stay focused and working all the way to the end.. so it's a bit challenging but it's all good.. That is so cool that Connell is going to state for softball and the fact that they are number 1, i hope that they do good! . i do continue to write in my journal but i dont do it everyday anymore cuz that got old, i only do it whne i have a spiritual moment or something funny happens.. i am so excited for Jarin! holy cow when i read that i started jumping, i know it will be way good for him, its gonna be challenging but he's been through alot already and so there isn't anything he cant get over! you'll have to let me know as soon as y'all find out. so yeah.. thats about all i have for this week, umm how is everything going for everyone else? i hope that school and work continue to go well.. sorry i haven't got any letters sent out recently, i have been waiting to hear from you all.. so i will sned some letters out as soon as possible.. anyways take care and keep in touch! i love you all so much and miss you! LOVE YOU!! Love,Elder Randy Anderson

Randy's Getting Transferred

hey family! :) so im getting transfered! i dont know where yet but i will find out early tomorrow morning and hopefully be able to email sometime tomorrow to give you my new address, i doubt i will but im gonna try to! if not i will jsut send it in a letter.. and you can let everyone know. this week has been going pretty good for me. when i first found out i was getting transfered i was kinda bummed cuz i like the area im in and i really have gotten to like the people, but today i ahve been getting kinda excited because i now that a change will be good and i gotta experince other parts of the mission.. so im pretty excited.. i met with president yesterday and i was talking with him about things and he was telling me how he is gonna continue to challenge me and he said taht my next companion will need me, so im curious to what that means. also he told me to tell the family HI and to express his love towards all of you! he is such a great guy, i can just open up to him and talk with him about lots of things and he actually can relate to me with his mission.. so i really love him! so about my knee how i hurt it last week, its better now and i just went to the store and bought some absorbing jr and put it on everday like 3 times! haha so good thing dad brought me up on that stuff! ;) Mom april got your letter and she said taht she started crying but that she appreciates it so much! she said she is glad taht other moms think the same way she does.. so thank you for that. Teres'a baptism went really well she was nervous but once the actuall baptism took place she was happy as could be! i sent home a memory card with tons of pictures on it, so if you have any questions about what the pictures are of just email me or write me and i will hopefully be able to answer them.. The baptism was really good for me cuz she is the 1st person i ahve actually found, taught all the lessons, and watched her be baptized! so that was a neat experience hopefully i will be able to have a couple more of those while im out here! I know what im doing is right i just miss home sometiems so as much as i complain and whine, just know that i am growing out here and becoming a better person.. it will just take time! After the baptism Brother Hardy Anderson a member in the bishopric came up to me and said that he really loves how i am always looking for something to do and that i dont ahve to be told what to do, i will just see something that needs to be done and do it.. i told him that it is how i was raised and he said yeah because i grew up on a farm! haha he grew up on a farm in nothern colorado. Today we went bowling with our district and i won all 3 games of course! haha so thhat was reallly fun! then we went back to our place to get changed and nwo im emailing.. i know that my service out here is blessing me and the rest of my friends and family and hopefully i am doing great missionary work back home also.. im still trying to eat better but i just dont find myself being like oh i want that type of food i just buy something easy and plain.. but i will try.. i think im gonna try and find some shoes and pants out here but i will let you know mom... so dont buy anything yet... depends on where i get transfered. thanks for the offer though.. so how are things going for everyone else? i hope that school and work are treating everyone well! i miss you all and keep you in my prayers, i cant wait to hear from you all again! i lovey ou all so much! take care and keep in touch! love yoU!love Randy Deloy Lynn Anderson

we have not gotten any new investigators so that sucks but we continue to tract and talk with people trying to find some! so the mission life is just hte same as always.. we got to go to the rockies game last week and that was a pretty cool experience. i actually bore my testimony last sunday in church it was a good experience for me i also talked about that in the tape.. so you should hear about all of that.. i am getting pretty excited for the baptisms on saturday and hopefully once they happen it will kind of give me a different outlook on things.. i actually finished the book of mormon yesterday! so that was also something cool.. we did get to go to the temple today and then they went and played volleyball and basketball and i wrote some letters.. like always! lol i am so excited to be able to call home on mothers day.. as much as i am gonna love ot talk to you its gonna stink cuz im gonna be home sick from hearing your voices!no i dont get to talk in the baptism all i am doing in this one saturday is saying the opening prayer and then the next weekend we have teresa's baptism and im praying in that one too! so not too much involvment in the baptism but i did get to teach them so tahts what counts! everything is going ok for me but i will let you all know if i need the extra support cuz there have been sometimes that i have! i think once i get through summer i will be ok i just gotta make it to september! haha but anyways how is work going for you mom and dad? any other news happening back home? how is school going for you mom and the little girls? that is so cool that brit is totally done with school.. well keep the letters coming please i absolutely love them and all of you! i hope that all is going well and know how much i love you all and miss you!!! God Bless!love Randy
