so how are things going? what is new with everyone back home this week? i have been doing pretty good i guess.. i haven't been up to too much besides the normal missionary work. yesterday we had a zone confrence so that was good.. so we had mikes baptism saturday and it went really well i sent you a program with that letter it was awesome then he got confirmed in church the next day by brother Gellespie and then after church he was ordained into the office of a priest so he got the aaronic priesthood.. it was such an awesome weekend for him, and we are going over to his house tonight to visit and teach some more.. so we got a new Bishopric in the Summit View ward and do you remember the family that i said is from Ellensburg and knows the Calaways, well he is now the Bishop.. Bishop Gary Gibb, so its gonna be awesome he is a great guy. just this past sunday we had dinner at the Christoffersons in the daniels park ward and Brother Christoffersons dad was there visiting from cali and they are relatives of D. Todd Christofferson of the 12... the Brother Christofferson in our ward is his nephew and then D. Todd's brother was the one visiting if that makes any since? lol so it was sweet to eat dinner with an apostles brother and relatives. so yeah that is all the really exciting things or high lights of what has been goign on, but hopefully we will start seeing some more success here real soon... i have been doing pretty good, the weather has been pretty nice for the most part, it rained yesterday but other than that it has been sunny.. i love you all so much and miss you like crazy! thanks for all taht you do mom! tell dad and the rest of the family hi for me and that i love them! keep in touch.. miss you.. love you!!!!!love Randy

how is everyone doing this week? it was good to hear from you mom! :) things have been going pretty good here for me, i'll tell you a little bit about whats been going on. or wht i wrote down to tell ya.. so that one gentleman taht you asked about who we talked with on his front lawn well we met with him last week and then his mom and him came to church sunday so that is awesome but the cool thing is that he has read through the whole book of mormon already.. haha so he is way close, hopefully in a couple of weeks.. the RIley's (the family i really like) they came back from utah cuz there boy Nick got home off of his mission and they had a little get together and so i got to see them again! i love them a lot! So Mike's baptism is this up coming saturday at 10 am he is so excited for it to happen it just gets us that much more excited to know that he is! so it should be good.. there is a family in one of the wards and i was talking to tbe kid who just got back from his mission and he asked where i was from and i told him and he was like oh like the tri-cities and i asked if he ahd been up there and he said yeah that they visited one of his dads companions from his mission adn i asked who it was and he said it was Eric Calaway! lol it is such a small world its crazy.. their last names are the Wiscombs. so yeah.. other than that not too much else has been happening..
well i hope that things are going good for everyone.. i miss y'all so so much and hope that your doing good.. thank you for everything mom.. take care and good luck this week! LOVE YOU!!! AND MISS YOU!!!! bye bye :(love, Randy

how is everyone doing this week? i hope that things are going good.. so i am staying in Highlands Ranch for at least another transfer and Elder Krawczyk is staying also, so im way excited! haha.. so yup the letters can keep coming to this address.. not too much has been going on around here since last week.. like really nothing at all.. except for the fact taht we didn't have mikes baptism last saturday because he was busy with work and so he felt a little rushed, so then we went over there and taught him the last lesson and he told us that the 22nd would work best for him so thats the plan! :) he would of done it this weekend the 15th but he wont have his kids and he wants them to be there for it.. he is so prepared its awesome! :) he went out and bought a quad (scriptures) haha and i think elder k and i are gonna buy him one of the scripture marker pens taht John got me for christmas.. we haven't caught up with any of the other investigators in a little while because ethier they're starting school or their kids are so they have been real busy with things like that. we have just been doing tons and tons of tracting and trying to visit people this past week but like i said earlier we haven't had anything too exciting happen so we haven't had that much success but thats ok i guess we will see the blessings later on down the road.. i am praying that we will get at least 2 or 3 baptisms this transfer!? so i guess we will have to wait and see.. the weather here hasn't been too bad but at night time i love watching some of the lightning storms, its like its just an ongoing thing they never stop up in the sky.. i have been doing pretty good with everything lately. its a little hard sometimes understanding the scriptures and things like that cuz i never really read them before the mission so its all kind of a new nature to me haha but i hope that by time i go home i will be a student of them and know them pretty well. Elder k was the same way he said and right now he is at 20 months and he knows them like the back of his hand, so i just need to study study study! :) so it sounds like things are going good back home and everyone is doing well.. i love to hear that! i always wonder what is going on back home and then i get pictures of stuff and it seems like things really ahven't changed too much.. i hope that things continue to go well for everyone back home. thank you all for everything that you do i appreciate it so much! i love you and miss you all like crazy!!!! keep in touch! love you!love Randy

howdy! so how is everyone doing this week? thanks for the email, i always love hearing from you..i have been doing pretty good lately. im glad taht you got my sd card and you liked the pictures. we haven't had too much going on recently but i have had a plugged up chest and nose all of last week and i finally got over it.. i just kept puttin vicks vapor rub on everynight haha.. we are hoping that the baptism is still on for saturday but mike had to go to minnesota to train a pilot.. he flies helicopters and so he had to go out there and do that. he should be back today but if not today then for sure by tomorrow.. i'll let you know what happens there, but if we dont have it this saturday it will be for sure within the next week after that. we have just been doing lots of tracting and we have actually helped 2 different people move in from out of town. one of the families moved into the Riley's old home.. they are originally from texas but have been living up in Wyoming the past year or so.. they are members or the church so we helped them and got to know them.. then we helped this other lady move in that used to live in the Colorado springs mission boundries and she moved into our area, and she is an investigator so we are gonna start teaching her. the weather has been pretty decent the past few days and its supposed to be 96 today but i dont htink it will get that hot.. so for my 6 month mark i burnt a tie! the first one i attempted didn't work to well cuz it was silk and it turns out silk doesn't burn to well! lol but i got another tie and some WD-40 and lit that piece of crap on fire! haha i got it on video so i'll send it once i get that other sd card y'all have.. oh and Elder K took me out to lunch yesterday for my 6 months. i agree about the whole at times it seems like forever ago but then it also seems like it has flown by.. so we will see how these next 18 go, everyone says they go lots faster.. i know jarin entered the MTC today i have been thinking about him alot lately and i've kept him in my prayers cuz that it way hard. so i think im gonna dearelder him real quick after this.. no the zone confrence isn't hte whole mission, but we have 9 or 10 zone's in the misson and i think a little over half of them were at my zone confrence.. but transfers are next thursday and im not sure what will happen i would love to stay here for another transfer with elder k but i guess we'll see.. that is crazy that taylor took off already he told me he would write me so im sure i'll get his address sometime.. i cant wait to hear where daniel cuello gets called to i think that is so awesome! anyways i hope that everything is going good for all of you! i miss you all so much and have you in my prayers.. keep me posted on everything and let me know what is new up in the basin! i miss you and love you!thanks for everything!! bye byeElder Randy Anderson
