hey family! :)how is everythign going for everyone? i hope all is going well! today is pday again obviously and i am doing ok.. like always everything has been a roller coaster i'll be doing perfectly fine and then i'll have my moments of doubt.but yeah anyways how has everything been? thank you so much for the package mom that had all of that stuff in it! :) i sure hope i get those other ones taht you said you wrote the wrong address on, thats funny and its ok.. i'll get em when i get em i know everyone back home is busy also.. taht is good to hear taht you all got the truck back, hope it runs good for you haha.. i hope dad had a good birthday!? i prayed taht he would, i prayed all day! so yeah nothing too exciting happened this week one of the funny stories is that we ahd to help a ward member toss out a old tv and when we threw it in the dumpster there was a old gallon of milk taht exploded and it got on us all haha but not all over the place.. other than that it has been just a normal week in the mission field.. oh wait actually we taught a really good first lesson on some ladies door step and she said taht she knew god sent us her way.. so taht was nice..also if you all could as a family read page 85 in preach my gospel as a family and then do the 1st and 3rd commitments on the page on page 86.. it will help us all as well! my back has been hurting me cuz we help people move and stuff and so now all the time when we are walking or just sitting around my back hurts, so i dont know if i wanna go to the chirpracter or what yet? but i'll let you know what happens.. those stamps you said you were gonna send must of been with those letters? anyways thats all that i have news on.. haha not too exciting i know but i hope everything is going good for everyone!know that i pray for everyone EVERYDAY and that i am thinking about you all the time, even though i probably shouldn't i just cant help it! i love you all so mcuh and hope school, work and sports are goign good! love you all keep in touch please.. take care!Love Elder Anderson

hey family how is eveything going? we just got back from the temple we got to go today because one of the elders on the east side or our area like we are in the same ward but they cover a different part.. well his grandpa passed awway so the presdent let us go to the temple with him! so that was nice.. but yeah i have been doing pretty good i still have my lil moments but not as often and i love all of the letters i think between that and prayer is what keeps me out here! anways i wrote down a list of things over the past week taht i wanted to wrtie about so that what im gonna do! first off the other night we had dinner at a investigators house and she made us bbq chicken wings, corn on the cob and fries! it was so delicious and it made me think of home and moms delicous cooking! but yeah i told the elders that it was one of my favorites back home!! it is so crazy being out here cuz we just go up to some of the weirdest people and start talking with them whether they are physco of ganster and never ever would i go up to random people like taht and jsut start talking so i think taht is really cool..
but a cool story i wanna share with everyone is about something that happened yesterday.. Elder forsyth and i were going up north to go and tract and we were on our way and i said taht i felt like we should go down this one street to head up there, so we did and on our way up there we saw a old lady out in her yard trying to do yard work but she had a broken arm and she was using a cane, so we stopped and asked if we could help her.. she said that we could and so we did yard work for about 2 hours and she sat there and talked with us the whole time, and she started crying telling us that she would never had been able to do this on her own and that the lord had sent her angels, and it really touched me when she said that.. im so gratefull for the chance i have to be out here and serve, service is amazing not only doing the missionary work but just being friendly and helping anyone out.. so yeah i know it sounds wierd that i like service but haha yeah.. so i hope i will continue to get over the homesickness which im sure i will but it will just take time. Take care everyone, i love you all so much and hope to keep hearing from you.. i will hand write some letters later today to respond to you im not sure how many but i'll try.. i hope school and work is going good for everyone... love everyone so much!love me

its about 2:30 my time and we just got to the library.. but yeah i got your letters and 1 of your packages hopefully the other one will come today, but no dont send any packages to the mission home cuz i wont ever get them.. just fed-ex or ups it to my apt address please.. hopefully its not to late. but yeah i got the ensign and i really loved the first talk in it by president monson.. you should read throught it as a family.. thank you so much for the calendar i really enjoyed it! oh also i just went to wal-mart and printed off some pictures so i'll write on them and send them out ethier tonight or tomorrow.. about my ward here it starts at 12:20 every sunday but we ahve to be there at 10:30 for meetings and then its sunday school priesthood and then sacrament. somethign taht is really cool is taht i met a lady and she asked where i was from and i told her and she said she had a sister taht lived in othello, and i know there family! haha its the Gilbert's ask michael about htem and he will tell you who they are.. but yeah i thought taht was pretty funny, oh and there is a younger girl well one that is just married and i guess she is related to the woodwards like oakdell farms.. so its a small world! who is gonna do the pigs for us this year? are you gonna do them? who will build the fence? to answer your question about my day yes it is like what preach my gospel says..6:30 wake up and exercise i normally do sit up's and a lil othere stuff, then between 7 and 8 we shower, eat breakfast at our place which i eat pop tarts or bagels, and get ready, then at 8 we have personal study until 9 then at 9 we have companion study until 10 and then at 10 we go out and ethier tract or talk with people of whatever is on the agenda.. then at 12 normally we come back to our apartment and eat lunch, mac n cheese or something liek that haha, then after taht we go out and tract or visit with people of if we ahve appointments then we will do that until 5 which is when we ahve dinner and normally we do eat at ward members house's but sometimes we have to just eat back at our place.. whcih reminds me the other night we ate at the bishops house and the next day the bishop came up to me and said " my wife kept saying last night how polite and nice i was and how well of a job my parents did in raising me!" i was so touched cuz it made me start thinking of home and how wonderfull of a job you and dad did do! im so gratefull for the both of you! but anyways we ahve dinner until 6 then we go out and OYM which means open your mouth, to pretty much anyone on the streets or we go to appointments until 9 which is when we get back to the apt. then from 9-9:30 we have planning for the next day and then from 9:30 to 10:30 we get ready for bed and write in journals but i normally go to be a little after 10.. so yeah thats my day as a missionarY! pretty boring! there are somedays taht go by really fast and then there are others that i dread! my bike is doing really good except for the fact that i got a flat tire at the start of last week! so we had to get it fixed! but yeah.. the area that i am in in prob 60 blocks total north and south and about 30 east and west, so its not huge but it sure takes forever on a dang bike! haha we do our laundry right at the bottom of our apt complext there is a couple washer and dryers.. it cost $1.25 per load of wash and $1 per dryer... but yeah there is a wal-mart in my area but its a 30 min bike ride so my companion doesnt really wanna do it and when we go up there it takes a big chunk out of our day so it sucks! we have a grocerie store taht is just like a mile away so we take back packs and load them up adn then carry whatever is left in a plastic sack on our bikes.. oh and about the wearther! it is straight up crazy here! like its really hot and then the other day it snowed so i dont know what it is..as for the white shirts i think i'll be. .. this past week has been anohter emotional roller coaster.. we had zone confrence tuesday and so taht went alright it took the whole day up so i was kinda happy! haha but make sure taht everyone continues to pray for me and let everyone know how much i love htme! oh and we only really have 2 investigators that we are working with they are 2 mexican ladies that they have been talking with for a while so we will see what happens, i'll keep you updated! i love you all take care!

Today is p-day and it's like 5 my time and we only have 30 minutes here also cuz we have to be on public computers in the library. So Im trying to hurry.
Everything is going okay and I've had some really hard moments like I just start thinking about home and start crying. I think I will be okay, well I hope so... I'll keep trying......
We went to the temple this morning. so maybe I will have more time next week to write letters. We go to the temple the first wednesday of each month.
My mission is going okay, its definately gonna take some getting use to. Especially the fact that I am always having to ride a bike around so it's killing my legs.
My area that I am in has like the straight up ghetto, and then its got rich snobby jews. I'm doing okay we haven't had to teach to many lessons only one actually real lesson when we went into someones house. Then other than that we are tracting or looking for people, talking to them on the streets.
How is everything going back home? I wish I had more time to write everyone. Have everyone write me letters please. I need the support again. I wrote some of the other missionaries today so hopefully they will write back.
It has been so hot out here. My companion is a really nice guy like he helps me out a lot and he is always there for me so that is good.
I hope everything is going good. It was funny the other day I was sitting in church and I starting laughing cuz I was thinking to myself that when I get back you will be 50, Dad will be 49, Ali will be 18 and Morgan will be 13 haha, that will be crazy. Tell everyone that I am sorry that I didn't get time to write. I will have more time next p-day. Let everyone know how everything is going for me. Tell everyone hi and let EVERYONE know how much I love them and miss them.
Keep praying for me and have john or who ever write me and give me advice. please......
Take care and make sure to write. I'll will check my email again next Wednesday....
Love, me

But yeah thanks so much for everything I love you all so much! If you send anything use my first name as well as my last, because there are a couple of other Elder Anderson's.
My new address is: 1235 Albion Apt 204
Denver, CO 80220
So yeah, I'll try to keep in touch, but I'm so tired. Let me know how things are. I loved hearing all your voices. You have no idea!
My mission president is way cool! I love him, I felt like I could bond with him really well.
Anyways, Love you all!
