hello everyone! i hope that things are going good for you all this week.. things have been going pretty good for me.. it has been really hot here these past few days and i got really sunburnt last saturday i took pictures and sent them to you today so you should get this next monday or tuesday.. i sent them ups with a package! i hope you enjoy the package!? :) the work has been going pretty slow lately all of our investigators and their families are out of town or too busy with other things so we haven't taught anything really for the past 2 weeks.. but we still tract and try to find people.. so tomorrow is transfers and i found out that i am staying in my area for sure and my companion that is coming in is from out west so i wont get him until thursday night so i'll be on team ups with another elder until both of our companions come at like 6 thursday.. anyways so i dont know if i will be a senior companion or not but i will find out tomorrow morning during transfer meeting.. but anyways things have been going pretty good and yeah i think we are gonna go out to lunch today with some other elders and hang out for a little while.. then tomorrow morning bright and early is transfers.. so im kind of looking forward to that but at hte same time im kind of nervous to see who president gives me, im sure he will give a great companion..so that's about all that is going on for me.. i have had a few times this past week when i got totally homesick and i think its just cuz elder fauvell is leaving.. so in that category im doing pretty good.. oh so the other day we were going to do service and we stopped to watch a high school baseball game and we were siting there in our p-day clothes and a guy came up and started talking to us and it turns out that he is a first cousin to the Haw's lol so he knew scott and lana, also nancy and wade..he took us out ot lunch., but i was like wow what a small world.. and his last name is Bailey.. i got to give a brother in the ward a blessing the other day.. his name is brother Riley.. his family is so cool, but they are moving to Salt Lake for his work... oh so i guess this is a cool story but sad, we were at a ward members home eating dinner the other night and i guess there 7 year old boy has lukima cancer and he has been doing chemo and things like that.. i think its so sad that he is 7 and has cancer but i guess his survival rate is 95% so tahts the cool part! ok now to respond to the email... that is so cool that jarin is getting ready to go through the temple.. i cant wait to hear how he does on his mission.. i bet he is gonna be an awesome missionary! so yeah thats about it.. :( i hope that things are going well for everyone and you're still enjoying the summer.. i miss you all so much and think about you all the time! keep in touch and take care of yourselves! :) let me know how things go? LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU!love Randy Anderson

hello everyone! :) so how is the week going so far? i hope that everyone is doing good and that you're enjoying summer.. so this past week has been pretty boring, nothing too extremely exciting the craziest experience was i'd say last Saturday.. Elder Fauvell and i were walking by the (king soopers) its like albertsons, anyways we were walking by and someguy in his car yelled out the window "burn in hell you effing heritics" so we looked back to see who said it and then he flipped us off and said "f.u." lol just out of no where.. we didn't say anything back to him but talk about losing the spirit.. i had such a weird feeling come over me i was like holy crap. lol i dont know if it was because i was scared of this huge dude or i think the spirit left! but that was so weird.. i love how people just think they are funny by yelling at us or saying things, all the time people will yell dumb things out their windows as they drive by.. but who cares it only strengthens my testimony.. Monday we actually rode bikes for the 3rd time this transfer! lol so that was pretty crazy, but we tracted for 3 hours monday afternoon and only 1 door opened! haha talk about boring.. so yeah that was pretty exciting! that night we taught the 3rd lesson to a family in the ward, just to practice and it went really well.. its cool the things you learn from different companions.. i learned this little process you teach kids about repentance.. its called the A B C D's of repentance.. i'll have to tell it to you sometime.. but yeah that is about it for my past week.. i have been doing pretty good overall, the weather is still weird as always. It can be scorching hot one moment and then raining the next.. so yeah.. transfers are a week from tomorrow so i will be gettin a new companion and most likely staynig in this area. so keep the letters coming to this address.. im curious to see what happens.. i will hit my 6 month mark in this next transfer, crazy huh? and everyone says if time hasn't started flying by that it will once 6 months rolls around.. so im looking forward to that! haha.. anyways enough about me.. how is everyone doing back home? anything really exciting going on? i hope that everyone is having a great time over summer break.. all of our investigators are out of town on vacation right now so we haven't been doing too much teaching this past week.. but tonight we have an appointment with an investigator that fell through last week, so hopefully that will go well.. i will keep you up to date on what happens with them.. i have been drinking lots of water and staying hydrated.. i hope that i can stay healthy while im out here.. i would hate to get too sick on my mission.. i wouldn't konw what to do to take care of myself! lol well im gonna get going i hope that everyone is doing well and that you're all staying healthy.. i love you all so much and miss you like crazy! i hope that things continue to go well! thanks for all the love and support you give, I love you all, take care! :) MISS YOU!Love,Elder Randy Deloy Lynn Anderson

hey everyone! :)So how is everything going for y'all this week? sounds like things are going pretty good! that is good to hear.. im glad that you are all enjoying summer so far! i dont really know what a summer is anymore besides hotter weather! lol but things have been going pretty good for me.. so i wrote down a couple things that i wanna tell you about.. umm 1st we are teaching a part member family, the girlfriend is a member and she is living with a guy and he has 2 kids and they aren't members but anyways we have been teaching them and they come to church and everything.. we actually got to teach him Monday night with the Assistants because they knew him from earlier on there mission.. but yeah they are so awesome! the only problem is that we cant baptize him until they get married because they are living together.. so we gotta work on that.. but things are going really good with their family. also there is a gentleman in our other ward that isn't a member but his wife is.. and anyways we have a appointment with him tonight and we are gonna try and commit him to be baptized sometime soon.. he is in his 50's so hopefully things go well there. Oh haha also there is this couple that is 85 years old and they have been married for 62 years, but anyways they are the nicest people ever! we go over and visit with them once a week and he always tells us stories of his childhood and when he was in war and all sorts of things like that.. but they are such sweet people! The discussions are going pretty good, my favorite is the 1st lesson because i have taught it the most so i feel most comfortable with it.. but no we do not do them by ourselves everything we do is together. things are going good for me.. i still have my moments but i am almost 5 months out! haha dang! only 19 more! j/k but im starting to enjoy it, i just find myself thinking about time WAY TOO much so that is what makes things hard for me.. only 2 more weeks left in this transfer and then i will be getting another companion.. so yeah i hope that work and summer is going good for all of you! i appreciate all taht you do for me! i really do! i love getting letters from y'all! :) take care and keep in touch! i love you all so much and miss you like crazy! i hope that you enjoy my email.. im doing good!Love, Elder Randy Anderson

hey family! :)so how is everyone doing this week? things have been going pretty good for me.. i still have my few moments when i struggle but overall things are going good.. we do lots of tracting still and we have a couple people that we are teaching and i think could be really close to baptism.. they are part member families.. so hopefully things go good there and Elder Fauvell and i will be able to baptize them before he leaves.. i did get your rice krispies! they were delicious and i think i got them on friday so yeah.. thank you so much for those i only ahve a couple of them left! oh ok so you remember April Pluss right? her house is where i called on mothers day? well just last saturday we were having interviews in the mission office and we also had district meeting while others were being interviewed.. well anyways april came in and as she was leaving presidents office i saw her so i ran over to the door and caught her before she left and she told me that she is gonna be baptized! :) she wasn't sure when yet but she is going to! so i was so excited to her about that! she is such a great lady! another thing that is exciting is that jarin got his mission call! haha that is so cool! im so stoked for him! tell him congrats for me please! so yesterday we had to go help the sisters with a service project for one of their investigators and we had to plant flowers for like 4 hours! this guy is all about nature and he was telling us that we need to talk to the plants and ask them where they need to be planted and things tlike that! i was like umm no! it looks good here and i'd plant it!.. but yeah he is a different type of guy! so now i can respond to your email cuz that is all that has really went on here! oh also real quick.. i got up and bore my testimony in the Daniels Park ward this past sunday.. and said how i was greatful for the message of how families can be together forever.. and i thought it went really well. its not everyday i would stand up in front of everyone and bear my testimony.. hahaso now to the email.. im glad that you enjoyed the first day of summer! haha although i have no clue what summer is for me except more heat! lol but thats good that the pigs are getting bigger and you got some more yard work done! thats cool that ali and morgie are going up to 4-h camp this week! i bet they will have lots of fun! how come michael and brittany cant move in until next weekend? or this weekend? but that is good to hear that pooh bear loves grandma's house. but yeah things are going pretty good for me.. i cant believe that we are already half way done with this transfer.. time is picking up faster each transfer..i hope that summer goes well for all of you and knw that i am out here in the hot weather in my suit pants and a white shirt! haha take care.. i love you all so much! bye byeLove,Elder Randy Anderson

howdyhey everyone... so its 2:00 here and we just got back from the temple and then we went and played basketball for a long time.. it was so good to be able to get a nice exercise.. the temple was great. Elder Fauvell and i went to the early morning session at 5:30 with our ward mission leader and so we were done by 7:30.. anyways it was good to be able to go to the temple again.. oh the other day we were walking and a ward member picked us up and we were talking and i guess he is a brother in law to Ben & Michelle Casper's oldest girl.. so it was way good being able to talk to someone that was familiar with back home... umm monday we had zone confrence and the whole metro area gathered together so there were about 110 Elders and sisters.. but we did it like taht this time because Elder Shumway of the 70 came and spoke to us. I enjoyed it so much.. i thought it was gonna be really boring sitting still for 4 hours but there were quite a few people that spoke for the first 2 hours and then Elder Shumway took up the last 2 hours.. it was so great, i felt the spirit really strong while he was talking.. its so cool to see how they are in real life, like there personalities.. he was making all sorts of jokes and just being a normal person.. haha.. so i loved Zone Confrence.. our next zonce confrence will be july 9 or 10 and we are going up to the mountains and were going to camp for a night! so that will be way cool being able to get away for a little bit.. the weather here has been kind of weird it has been over cast and kind of misty the whole week up until today.. overall i have been doing better since last week this time but things are going pretty good.. im starting to feel more and more comfortable every week.. but i have a hard time thinking baout how i have 20 months left, so hopefully i can forget about time and enjoy myself.. anyways i hope all is going well for all of you.. i keep you in my prayers and i love you all so so much! take care and keep in touch! i love getting letters from y'all! :) Love Elder Randy Anderson

hey everyone! so yeah i got transfered as you all know already and i am in Highlands Ranch which is a really really rich area.. the ward members here are amazing! they help the missionaries out so much and they are so nice! its way better than my last area in that category.. but we are doing lots and lots of tracting because there aren't too many people who are willing to listen.. but we teach the ward members on nights that we dont have appointments with investigators.. i think we have 4 different investigators but i dont know too much about htem cuz i've only been here a week.. so hopefully things will go good with them.. i'll be sure ot keep in touch and let you all know. so last saturday Elder Fauvell and i were walking on our way to go tracting and a member stopped us and asked if we were goin to the graduation party and we were like umm no and they were like well do you want to!? and so of course we took them up on it and we went with them! :) there were a ton of people and we got to eat food and hang out.. but yeah the ward members are pretty sweet here! so i think it was sunday we ate a family's home and they are the Gibbs Julie and Gary GIbbs, well anyways they grew up in Ellensburg and Sunnyside so i was telling them how i was from the east side of the state and i asked them if they knew the Calaways and of course they did! haha but i guess she (julie) takes her 3 boys up there to washington every summer to work on the farm.. so it is a really small world, especially a MORMON WORLD.. haha so yeah that is all that has really been going on.. but i will respond to the email.. yeah the house we are living in is really nice, so im sure its the one taht you google maped, and we live with a member family but they aren't in our ward's they are in another ward but we still live with them.. we live in their basment, yes we are still in a biking area but my companion doesn't like to bike, well he sucks at it and is slower than slow so we walk pretty much everywhere! hahah which isn't too bad but its good exercise.. my companion is from Twin Fall's originally but his family moved to Pocatello last summer so he will be going back there, he is almost done with his mission.. he is a great guy, he is ALWAYS happy and cheerful which helps me a tons! i talk with him about all sorts of things and he trys to give me advice.. umm what else.. haha he is a real goof! sometimes he will never shut up! i will have to take a picture of him today and send it to you so you all can see.. but he is a really nice guy and think that he is good for me.. and yes i have figured out about what President meant when he said that my companion would need me.. haha its just cuz he will need help trying to stay focused and working all the way to the end.. so it's a bit challenging but it's all good.. That is so cool that Connell is going to state for softball and the fact that they are number 1, i hope that they do good! . i do continue to write in my journal but i dont do it everyday anymore cuz that got old, i only do it whne i have a spiritual moment or something funny happens.. i am so excited for Jarin! holy cow when i read that i started jumping, i know it will be way good for him, its gonna be challenging but he's been through alot already and so there isn't anything he cant get over! you'll have to let me know as soon as y'all find out. so yeah.. thats about all i have for this week, umm how is everything going for everyone else? i hope that school and work continue to go well.. sorry i haven't got any letters sent out recently, i have been waiting to hear from you all.. so i will sned some letters out as soon as possible.. anyways take care and keep in touch! i love you all so much and miss you! LOVE YOU!! Love,Elder Randy Anderson
