Randy is being Transferred!!!!

I didn't get an email from him today. I think something must of happened and it didn't come through. Karie got a quick email from him telling her that is being transferred, but he doesn't know where. He will find out tomorrow and hopefully have someone from Paonia email us or we will hear from him next week. He did tell Karie that he was called to be a district leader by his mission president, President Christison. So hopefully we will find out next week what that means.

No Blog this week. Sorry!

Grandma Anderson's health has deteriorated to the point where we are staying with her at her home in Kennewick 24/7. We are getting support through hospices. Randy was given special permission from his mission president to call his Grandmother today and talk to her. How special it was to witness the look on her face when she realized she was talking to Randy. She truly loves her Grandchildren, especially her missionary Elder Anderson. We are so thankful that Families are Forever.

Thing's are going well for me here in Paonia this past week since i last emailed has been good. thank you so much for keeping in such good contact with me, it means a lot to me.
i cant believe that it is this time of year already haha it seems like not too long ago that i was back home and here it is a year later. that is too funny that i noticed you painted the living room haha it is going to be so weird when i get home and notice all the litle things that y'all have done and i haven't heard about. and too see how much everyone has grown up or out! lol like me! :(
so as for my week we found out later that night after i last emailed that Brian Peterson and his family are back together and we went over there and visited with them and things seem to be going really well so i think we will start going back over there on a regular bases. we had a couple come to church that a member invited and they seem really interested, we have been in contact with them and they said that they will be back next week, the only thing that stinks is i think they live outside of our ward boundries so if we were to start teaching them i think we would have to turn them over to some other missionaries. we will hopefully have our first appointment with Mary-Ann tomorrow, that is if it goes through. she told us that she is feeling better so i pray that things work out. yesterday we had Zone Confrence down in Montrose and i enjoyed it there were good trainings but the part that i loved the most and normally do love the most about Zone Confrence's is that we get to have an interview with President Christison, he is such a great guy and i enjoy every moment i get to talk with him, he gave me some insight on things. we found out that his son Mason is leaving on the 27th of January so they are excited about that. President leaves the 1st of July so his days are numbered... it will be so weird to get a new mission President and have to adjust to him.
but anyways i just continue to take each day as it comes and really enjoy the blessings i do have. transfers are on the 28th and i pray (as well as should all of you LOL) that i stay in this area at least one more transfer it is great here. thank you for all that you do i can never thank you enough, i'm grateful for all of you and the role's you have and do play in my life! i miss you and love you bunches!

so school has started back up? i hope that everyone is adjusting well and getting back into the swing of things. i have been doing good out here, just doing missionary work and trying to enjoy myself. i'll tell you bout my week.
There was a girl that i mentioned to you back in November that we tracted into that said she wanted to be baptized but her mom told her she couldn't until she was 18, well we went back up there and visited with her for a bit and she told us that she was going to go to a semester of college first and see how that went and then she would start looking into the church, she didn't want to put too much on her plate at once. which is totally fine cuz we as missionaries dont like forcing things on people but we are there and we try to share with them the things we know to be true and then they can act on it for themselves on there own time. and once again the like i said ealrier the Lord works on his own time. we saw Brian Peterson the other day and got to chat with him for a bit, he seems to be doing lots better and says that him and his wife are still working things out but there is difintely improvement there for him, not so much with the church but with his famiy so i'm really happy for him he is such a great guy! Mary-ann has still yet to meet with us so who knows what will happen there ha we are still trying to keep in contact with her but haven't met with her yet. also this past week we went out and tried visiting quite a few names that the Elder's quorum and Relief Society gave to us and we have had a few good contacts but nothing solid. so that was my week in a nut shell, not the best week but definitely not the worst! :)
anyways i better get going, i think we are gonna go play basketball with the Elders in Delta so hopefully i can get a good work out and lose some FAT!! Lol... oh and these past like 2 days i feel like i am starting to get sick again so i hope that i can fight it off, i bought some of that Airborne stuff that Michael would always use and i've been taking vitamin C. anyhoo i miss you and love you all! cant wait to hear back from you!!! keep in touch.
love Elder Anderson

oh and thank you everyone that did something for me for Christmas i greatly appeciate it and if i dont get you a Thank You card consider this my THANK YOU!! :) love ya!!!

hello! :)
how is everything going? we are getting dumped on right now and i would have to say that we have prob 8" so far and it is supposed to keep coming. i love the snow but at the same time it makes missionary work harder to do.
anyways how is everyone doing? i LOVED being able to talk to everyone it was definitely my favorite gift also!!! so i'll respond to your email but i got a few things that i wrote down first.
so i remember that when we were talking mom you asked if i thought i would ever be able to do the baptizing and i said who knows. well the next day at Justin Holts baptism i got to baptize him! :) haha it was such a great experience, i guess the guy taht was going to baptize him thought it wasn't until 6 that night but it was at 11 that morning and he lives like 2 hours away so they asked me if i would do it! i thought it was pretty funny cuz you had just barely asked me if i thought i would and then the very next day i did! :) oh before i forget we have a new mission office address so it is:
999 E. Tufts Ave
Cherry Hills Village, CO 80113
so from now on if anyone wants to send letters to me through the mission office make sure they use that. but we have been trying by quite a few investigators homes and part member families just trying to get in and visit with them but haven't had the best of luck cuz they are out of town or got different things going. this week has been kind of a slow week. we had district meeting down in Delta again yesterday and then we went and ate Sonic so im gonna get fatter and fatter as the days go on! lol but that is all that has really gone on this week, kind of boring i know but talking to the family was definitely the highlight of my week! i really loved it!
no i haven't been able to get brother stovers chair fixed yet i think i might head over there today and take a look at it. im sorry if this email is so short but i feel like i told you everything when we were talking the other day so i hope that things continue to keep going well up at the cabin. tell everyone hello for me! tell the little girls (lizzie krista and verena) to have fun! haha.
But i better get going. it was such a blessing to be able to talk to you the other day i loved it! thank you once again for all that you do, i dont deserve everything. i love you!! i miss you!!! cant wait to hear how the rest of the week goes!

love Randy
