hey everyone! :) so how is this week going for y'all? i hope that things continue to go well.. i have been doing pretty good.. things havne't been really exciting but good things continue to happen so that is always good.. umm thye weather here was hot and then this past week has been overcast which is really nice except for the fact that Elder K and i got drenched 2 different times on our way home, like totally soaked all the way through! so it makes for a fun memory.. lol.. anyways so last night we went and taught Michael Benton and his family (his wife is a member) and we committed him to be baptized on the 8th of August which is cool cuz thats michael and brittany's 1 year anniversary! :) so we are praying that it will follow through and he will be able to be baptized.. so that was awesome.. we have a couple others that are really close to baptism and i think definately next transfer we will ahve at least 2... so we are seeing the success from our hard work, those days that we are out tracting and nothing happens but we perserver the Lord blesses us with success in other ways! :) so zone confrence, it was fun.. we left at 5:50 last wednesday and we all met by the mission office and then we got into a certain amount of mission cars and dispersed on our way.. we got there at 11 or so and then we got to put our stuff in the cabins and had lunch.. then we went on a hike up to some springs and we got to refill our water bottles and then we had an hour of personal time where we got to commune with the Lord and have our own study.. it was a great experience i really loved it.. after taht we had the sacrament up on the hill for a kind of neat experience then we headed back down and the whole area up there is a grazing area for cattle and 3 cows got out of the fence cuz someone forgot to close it and so i rounded them up and got them back in.. it was a cow and her to calfs.. anyways so we went back down the hill and then we went to dinner and then after dinner we had a fire and we were trained a little bit and then we had testimony meeting.. which was also another great experience.. then we went to bed, the beds were just like a piece of plywood haha but i didn't complain. so the next morning we woke up and had breakfast and then had a normal zone confrence then we had lunch and headed out.. the people that cooked the food was just a few members from one of the wards out on the western slope.. i loved the chance i had to get away from the city and go up to the mountains! it was the best!!! i forgot what ALL the stars looked like cuz here in the city you cant see as many as you can back home or in the mountains.. this morning we got up at 4 and went up to the Red Rocks ampethier or however you spell that and we watched the sunrise it was amazing! then we went on a hike.. and then we came back home and now we are gonna go to the driving range after this.. :) im happy to hear that everything is going good back home for eveyone and that y'all are staying busy.. it sounds like fun though all the different things that are going on.. i cant believe its a week before jarin goes into the MTC! haha im so excited for him.. anyways i hope that things continue to go well thanks for all that you do and the love and support you give me.. i love you all and miss you so much! take care and keep in touch! miss you LOVE YOU!!!love Randy Anderson
