hey everyone! :) so how is this week going for y'all? i hope that things continue to go well.. i have been doing pretty good.. things havne't been really exciting but good things continue to happen so that is always good.. umm thye weather here was hot and then this past week has been overcast which is really nice except for the fact that Elder K and i got drenched 2 different times on our way home, like totally soaked all the way through! so it makes for a fun memory.. lol.. anyways so last night we went and taught Michael Benton and his family (his wife is a member) and we committed him to be baptized on the 8th of August which is cool cuz thats michael and brittany's 1 year anniversary! :) so we are praying that it will follow through and he will be able to be baptized.. so that was awesome.. we have a couple others that are really close to baptism and i think definately next transfer we will ahve at least 2... so we are seeing the success from our hard work, those days that we are out tracting and nothing happens but we perserver the Lord blesses us with success in other ways! :) so zone confrence, it was fun.. we left at 5:50 last wednesday and we all met by the mission office and then we got into a certain amount of mission cars and dispersed on our way.. we got there at 11 or so and then we got to put our stuff in the cabins and had lunch.. then we went on a hike up to some springs and we got to refill our water bottles and then we had an hour of personal time where we got to commune with the Lord and have our own study.. it was a great experience i really loved it.. after taht we had the sacrament up on the hill for a kind of neat experience then we headed back down and the whole area up there is a grazing area for cattle and 3 cows got out of the fence cuz someone forgot to close it and so i rounded them up and got them back in.. it was a cow and her to calfs.. anyways so we went back down the hill and then we went to dinner and then after dinner we had a fire and we were trained a little bit and then we had testimony meeting.. which was also another great experience.. then we went to bed, the beds were just like a piece of plywood haha but i didn't complain. so the next morning we woke up and had breakfast and then had a normal zone confrence then we had lunch and headed out.. the people that cooked the food was just a few members from one of the wards out on the western slope.. i loved the chance i had to get away from the city and go up to the mountains! it was the best!!! i forgot what ALL the stars looked like cuz here in the city you cant see as many as you can back home or in the mountains.. this morning we got up at 4 and went up to the Red Rocks ampethier or however you spell that and we watched the sunrise it was amazing! then we went on a hike.. and then we came back home and now we are gonna go to the driving range after this.. :) im happy to hear that everything is going good back home for eveyone and that y'all are staying busy.. it sounds like fun though all the different things that are going on.. i cant believe its a week before jarin goes into the MTC! haha im so excited for him.. anyways i hope that things continue to go well thanks for all that you do and the love and support you give me.. i love you all and miss you so much! take care and keep in touch! miss you LOVE YOU!!!love Randy Anderson

hey family! how is everyone doing this week? its only been 6 days since i last emailed haha but this upcoming week will be 8 :( so i guess it all evens out.. anyways things have been going pretty good with me.. today has been kind of a boring day we have just been getting stuff around and getting ready for tomorrow...so yup we moved into a new house jsut because we weren't living inside our ward boundaries so now we are.. we're living with a single woman probably in her late 50's and yes we are living the basement and its all to ourselves :) its way nice i took pictures and im gonna send my memory card home in the letter that i will send out.. so in my last email i told you taht we had a appointment with Mike and Linda and it went really well we taught them the 1st lesson with their kids there and then Saturday Elder K and i went over there and helped mike and linda paint their basement, it was an unfinished basement so they are finishing it.. so that was a fun time haha..we are heading out tomorrow morning to zone confrence and so thats all i really know of for the rest of the week, once we get back thursday evening we will plan for the remainder of the week.. oh and zone confrence is in the mountains at a church camp called RAGGED MT.. and we will be staying in cabins i think.. trust me i will take tons of pictures! :) things have been going good though, the weather is still hot as heck and i sweat all the time.. we are tracting like crazy and so yeah that's about it... oh we have another appointmentt with mike and linda sometime later this week.. we will hopefully get him baptized soon!? so ali is at ASB camp huh? how is that going for her? doesn't she get to make 1 phone call during the time she is there? LOL that is soooo funny about morgan waking up all the time and asking you those questions! ahha but im proud of her that she did that! i think she is the 1st Anderson to have memorized all the articles of faith! so good for her! what a awesome experience, she needs to continue to practice them though so she doesn't forget them! so your going up to Othello for the 24th huh? that is so sad to her about sister Pauley :( i will continue to keep her family in my prayers.. so yeah im doing good.. i hope that all of you are doing good.. thanks for all the letters and love and support you continue to give y'all have no idea how much it helps me! i love hearing from you! only 2 more weeks and im 6 months out! :) hehe love you and miss you tons! keep in touch! God Bless! love you!!love Randy Anderson

hey! :)hello family! :) today was temple wednesday and so we got to go to the temple early this mornign and then we were playing basketball and everything is just running a little behind schedule so we've been real busy today getting from one place to another.. so for next week my pday is on TUESDAY so make sure to email me on monday night or tuesday morning, its then becuase we have that zone confrence up in the mountains.. so im pretty excited for that, it will be a change of pace! :) but the temple went well and the rest of my pday is going good. tonight we have a teaching appointment then dinner then an appointment with one of our part member families! :) so im excited for that, but once again everything is so busy! so we have been working really hard this transfer and having fun, but the working hard part is paying off we can see the blessings.. we tracted this one street called Thistlebrook and we ran into 4 in-active members so we talked to them and 1 of them told us to come back and she thought she'd be interested in coming back to church.. so we were tracting this other st and there was a guy who was out on his lawn talking with another gentleman and so we started talking to him about normal stuff and then i asked him if he had spoken with missionaries before and he said yeah im actually reading the book of mormon and so he walked over to hsi lawn chair and picked up his book of mormon.. we were like holy cow thats sweet! so we talked to him about any questions he had for like 2 hours lol and then he invited us to come back but the coolest part of all is that he said that we were gonna have a bunch of converts on our hands here real soon! he said his mother is reading the book of mormon and he thinks his sister might be interested as wel! he is single and is in his early 40's bnut that was so cool.. he told us that just right before he saw us he was thinking that he ahdn't seen the missionaries in a long time and then as soon as he looked up we were walking around the corner knocking on doors! that is such a testimony that heavenly father leads us to those he has prepared for us! but i'll keep you informed on him and what happens there.. i went to a less active member in the wards house last night his name is Jason Leavitt and he is a chiropractor so he adjusted my back and is gonna give me some excercises to do, he thought taht my back is so tight and it hurts is becuase my legs are getting bigger and im not strecthing them enough.. but i went over there thinking he would be some rich snobb or something but he is WAY cool!! lol anyways so yeah i have been doing pretty good, this transfer is going by so much better and easier than my last. Elder Krawczyk and i get along and have fun.. so im doing pretty good, i hate the hot heat though.. i'll keep you posted on everything else that goes on.. i hope things continue to go well for the family.. y'all are always in my prayers! keep in touch and let me know if there is anythign i can do for you! how is work going for everyone? dad, mike, john, ali and whoever else i missed? let me know! that's funny that morgan has to have the articles of faith memorized! haha good for her though, make sure all of you are still reading your scriptures daily and saying prayers you'll be blessed for it! TRUST ME! and no i dont have them memorized! lol that's what the cards are for! we have them on little cards we can hand out. well it was good hearing from you! i hope that things are going well.. thanks for all the love and support! keep in touch! LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU ALL SOO SOO MUCH!!!! bye bye until NEXT TUESDAY!Love Randy Anderson

how is everyone doing this week!? Things are going pretty good for me, we are almost a full week into the new transfer and things are going good. My new companion's name is Elder Krawczyk and he is from Buffalo, New york.. he has been out for 19 months and we are CO-senior compaions.. so that is pretty sweet. he is 23 years old and yeah he is a way cool guy.. so far i have liked him the best out of all my comps.. just cuz we can relate to alot fo things from back home and he is just down to earth, he has had his fair share of problems before the mission.. we get the work done but yet have fun at the same time which is something i really haven't been doing with any other comps.. well having fun but working.. so yeah i think this transfer will go well.. so on the 22nd and 23rd of July we are having zone confrence up in the mountains so i hope i will be able to email before we go up but im not positive so i'll hopefully let you know for sure next week.. but that should be lots of fun.. the Riley's finally left and headed for Utah, we helped them pack up the rest of there stuff and so yeah it was hard saying goodbye to them. i had got so close with them and it just reminded me of saying goodbye to the family so that was hard.. Our families taht we have been teaching i think we will start back up next week sometime cuz they have been so busy with things.. so hopefully that will go well next week if we get to meet with them.. other than that we have been doing tons and tons of tracting.. my 4th was lame and made me miss home but hey what can i do right!? i hope all of yours went well.. now to respond to the email! :) but yes i kind of knew about it before you asked me to get new pictures for the blog.. so i hope that those are ok and you were able to use some of them? i have cut my own hair twice, well shaved it.. but other than taht i had it cut by a lady in one of our wards she has a little shop in her basement.. so yeah thats awesome that you touched base with Nancy and were able to figure out who it was.. i cant believe how small of a world it is in the mormon church! lol CONGRATS ALI!!! 98 huh? sweet im sure you were nervous as heck huh mom? lol i said a couple prayers for her! haha so hopefully those helped.. but that is crazy only 1 more kid and mom and dad wont have to drive people around anymore! that poster sister Riley made was for me and she made one for elder fauvell.. but no she doesn't make those for everyone.. she just liked us i guess. she started crying when i had to say good bye to her so that really sucked! :so yeah i love being in this area just for the fact of how awesome the ward members are. im doing pretty good i hope that all of you are enjoying your summer., i hate the heat! but thanks for all the love and support that all of you continue to give to me! take care and keep in touch please!? love you bunches! miss you!!!Love, Randy Anderson
